It is difficult to stress the importance of regular eye examinations for part of a Healthy Lifestyle. There are a number of ever more common conditions that can be detected early by having an eye examination

The most common medical complaints are:

- High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol and Diabetes
- Glaucoma, Age Related Macular Degeneration and Cataracts
(All of which, if detected in their early stages, can be more successfully treated)

There are many people who will qualify for a FREE eye examination:


- Children Under 16
- Children Up to 18 and in full time education
- People over 60 years
- People in receipt of / or their partner is in receipt of income support, job seekers allowance, pension credit guarantee and tax credit
- People who are blind or Partially sighted
- Diabetics
- Glaucoma patients
- Aged 40+ and the parent/sister/brother/child of a Glaucoma sufferer
- If you or your partner hold an HC2 full help certificate
Many of the above also qualify for FREE spectacles from a select range.  

We also offer a domiciliary service for any patients over 60 years who are housebound or confined to a nursing home.
